The Experience
Deer Park is a 90-acre green sanctuary tucked between Hauz Khas Village and the IIT Delhi campus. It's greener, quieter, and more private than Delhi's more famous gardens (Lodhi Garden, Buddha Jayanti Park), and the deer add a touch of whimsy that makes it feel special. The walk from the lake-side entrance takes you through winding paths lined with old trees, past a small pond (great spot for a quiet moment), and eventually to the deer enclosure where a small herd of spotted deer laze around. The crowd drops significantly after 6 PM, and by 7 PM you might have entire sections to yourself.
