Welcome to Plankro ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your information is collected, used, and protected when you visit plankro.com.

1. Information We Collect

We collect essential information necessary to provide customized date itineraries and account access:

• Account Details: Your email address and/or phone/WhatsApp number when you sign up or authenticate via OTP.
• WhatsApp number (optional): If you ask us to send your plan on WhatsApp, to remind you before your date, or to ask once after your date whether you went, we keep your number, the time your plan starts and the time you agreed. We use it for those messages only and delete it 30 days after your date. Ask us to stop at any time, from the link in the message, and we delete it straight away.
• Date Preferences: Selected date timing, zones/neighborhoods in Delhi NCR, budget preferences, and mood tags.
• Payment Information: Earlier Plankro Pro payments were processed directly by Razorpay. Plankro does not store card numbers, UPI PINs, or banking credentials.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your information is strictly used for operational purposes:

• To pick venues, personalize, and save your custom date itineraries.
• To generate shareable partner links and formatted WhatsApp invitations.
• To authenticate your session and manage any earlier Plankro Pro subscription.
• We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties or advertisers.

3. Cookies & Session Management

We use standard HTTP session cookies to maintain your authenticated login state and preserve pending date itineraries created while browsing as a guest. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though certain features may require active cookies to function properly. We also set a short-lived cookie (24 hours) that holds a random ID and records which planner steps a visit reached, so we can fix the steps people get stuck on. It holds no name, email or phone number. For visits arriving via search engines, we also record a first-party search-source category, public landing path, and whether a generated plan was displayed, without storing search queries or itinerary details in the measurement.

4. Data Security & Retention

We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) and secure database storage to protect your data. We retain account records only as long as necessary to provide service or fulfill legal compliance requirements.
